At The Ballpark the Oakland A's outscored the Cleveland Indians 9 to 6.

Rob Mackowiak was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a
fine day at their team's expense. He popped a two-run clout over the fence
(his 3rd of the season) in the 6th inning and tripled plating a run in the
8th inning. Oakland had 13 hits for the afternoon.

The victory went to Jason Schmidt(7-2) who went 7 innings, allowing 6 runs.
Jason Isringhausen earned his 11th save. The losing pitcher was Mark
Prior(3-7). He allowed 3 homeruns in 6 innings of work.
