The A's on the road have been winning with great pitching and timely hitting from two players who were not thought to play a major role offensively. Orlando Hudson has assumed the lead off role for most games and has been getting on base for the A's. The pitching is looking strong as the A's have lost on the road to low scoring one run games. Jason Schmidt and Tim Hudson both have six wins.
